Barcelona is a marvellous location in which to learn Spanish. Our school in Barcelona offers Spanish courses throughout the year. Students at our school study Spanish in small groups (maximum 10 students/group) and come from all over the world. Most of the Spanish lessons take place in the morning.

Barcelona is the modern, thriving capital of Cataluña, rich in cultural heritage, lying on the warm shores of the Mediterranean. This is a city of elegant boulevards, stylish 'modernist' architecture and breathtaking views.

If you choose to learn Spanish in Barcelona, you can join the strolling crowds that amble along 'Las Ramblas' , explore the narrow cobbled streets of the Gothic Quarter, or walk to the top of 'El Tibidabo' and enjoy the night-time panorama of this beautiful city. With its numerous restaurants, museums, monuments, theatres, parks, shops and beaches, Barcelona is a city for all tastes and for all seasons.

Our school is located in the very heart of Barcelona, just 5 minute's walk from Plaza Cataluña. There are 8 air-conditioned classrooms, a student common room and computer room, Internet café and extensive sun terraces for students to use at break time. Also the school has a large private garden with mature palm trees, providing plenty of shade on hot summer days - a very popular meeting place for our students, between lessons or after class.

In addition to wide range of Spanish courses, our school in Barcelona organises an extensive cultural program, including guided walks, evening out with tutors and Spanish film evenings in the school. Our students really enjoy these activities as they not only provide an excellent way to explore Barcelona and practice the Spanish that they learn on their course, but also because they are alot of fun.

Spanish Club 50+

Learn Spanish with Club 50+ in Barcelona

Club 50+ Price List

Students over 50 are more than welcome to join our normal courses. However, for those who prefer to be with people their own age, we offer 2-week 'Club 50+', combining 15 Spanish lessons/week with a full programme of visits, dinners, evenings out and guided tours. This course takes place at a different location from our other Spanish courses, but also in the very heart of Barcelona. A sample programme is given below. Accommodation is in host families, private apartments or hotels. For students who require host family accommodation with bathroom for their sole use. 'Executive families' are available, Similar Spanish 'Club 50+' courses are available in Santiago de Compostela, Malaga, Nerja and Seville.

Tarragona is a pleasant coastal town 100km to the south of Barcelona. There are sandy beaches within walking distance of the school. Students receive 15 hours of Spanish lessons / week, full board accommodation in host families or residence, airport transfers from/to Barcelona Airport, plus extensive programme of sports, visits and excursions (to Barcelona, Port Aventura theme park, mountains etc.)
