The northern coast of Spain is a wonderful location in which to learn Spanish, being unspoilt by mass tourism. Our school in San Sebastián specialises in Spanish courses for foreign students. The Spanish language courses run at all levels and attract students from all over the world. Studying Spanish in San Sebastián, students are able to discover the wonderful beaches of the area, explore the Pyrenee Mountains, and enjoy the incredible lifestyle of this undiscovered part of Spain.
San Sebastián (pop. 170,000) lies on a beautiful sandy bay on the North coast of Spain. The city itself is stunningly beautiful, with a fascinating historic centre, full of narrow streets, restaurants and bars. As the climate is not as hot as the Mediterranean coasts of Spain, San Sebastián has been saved from over-development by tourism. This is an ideal base from which to explore the nearby Pyrenee Mountains, as well as the spectacular, largely undiscovered scenery of Spain's northern coast.

Our school has 15 classrooms, a library/common room, Internet cafe, cafeteria and large terrace. The school is ideally located, next to a park and just a short walk from both the beaches and the old town. The school organises 'international evenings', Spanish film evenings, parties and visits to places of interest within San Sebastián. There are also full day excursions to Vitoria, Pamplona (famous for its bull run) to the mountains, to Hendaye, and to fishing villages along the coast. The facilities at the school are excellent and the standard of tuition exceptionally high.

Summer Spanish Course for Young Students
On Spain's northern coast, San Sebastián is ideal for students who want to avoid the heat of the South, but who are looking for a high quality Spanish course at a coastal location with excellent sandy beaches. The school is just 10 minutes walk from both of San Sebastián's two magnificent beaches. The course consists of 25 Spanish lessons/wk and a full activities programme: 3 half-day excursions plus 1 full-day excursion/week - island trip, cycling excursion, beach volleyball, guided tour, trip to Hendaye, 'pinchos' tour, excursion to Pamplona and more!
